Little Drummer Girl’s Bio
After playing the video game 'Rockband' for several months I decided to rock-for-real! In July 2008, at the age of 47, I got my first drum kit.
Six short months later I did what I never thought I could ever do, I joined a band, The Mydols.
During the 2 years I played with the Mydols we had a couple of unique opportunities. In September, 2009 we filmed for 5 days with Gene Simmons and appeared on his reality TV show, 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels'. Then a year later, in September, 2010 we opened for The B-52's at Motor City Casino Hotel Soundboard.
I thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to learn the drums. Now at age 51 I continue to regularly play my drums and strive to continually improve. I appreciate your support!

Hey Laura you know you ALWAYS have my vote. BTW a side note on the Black Crowes, I went to school with Johnny Colt at Wheeler HS in Marietta, GA The rest went to Walton HS in Marietta, GA.

Laura!!! You amaze me!! We became friends about 2 years ago if not a little more through FB. ... & we used to “like” & “comment” on lots of each other’s stuff. I would like you to know that even though we dont anymore I still, once in a while, look up drummers on FB & lookout for their evolution ..... & you girl astonish me!!
