I started drumming initially at age 17 because I was fed up with depending on inconsistent drummers in my band (I played guitar). I didn't realize what I was getting myself into. I remember telling myself I was going to record all of my music by myself (by playing all instruments). I eventually did accomplish that goal. What I didn't realize was that drumming would soon take over my mind, body and soul. The power, intensity, and love I felt while drumming made me feel alive and as though I had finally found my purpose.

I haven't stopped playing ever since. It has been 7 years of learning and growing as a person and musician with my drumset (Pearl) by my side. My love for drums grew so deep that I started rearranging my lifestyle just to make myself a better drummer. I traded my old habits (drinking, partying) for newer healthier ones (working out, eating healthy), all just to become a better musician.

My main inspiration is music itself. Music is a universal language that touches individuals all on a different level. As a drummer, my duty is to be the heartbeat behind that movement. Drummers that I find capable of fulfilling this duty also inspire, me such as: Buddy Rich, Tony Royster Jr., Aaron Spears, Danny Carey, Dave Lombardo, and Mike Portnoy.

First off you killed it in those boots!!! I mean just sick, ill, crazy, I love that. I think the way you played this song was creative, the rock feel was different but a good different. And your video overall was pretty sick, lighting and the cuts.  You’ve got my vote, thought it was awesome

WOW!  You make that song worth listening to.  You are f%$@%$% AWESOME!  That is like some kind of metal/rap fusion that really works for me.  As a guitarist I don’t really listen to rap because I need to hear people playing instruments.  Kanye needs to hear you play to that and take you on tour.  Very, very tastefully done.  You have my vote(s)!!

When I saw the first seconds of this video I thought “no, another pussy with some sexy boots..noo..” but I immediately changed my opinion because you did a great job and I think you are a good drummer! I love this song also, it’s amazing! Nice work and nice video!

You got it goin on! So hip to see more women interested in drumming with great fierce and drive. I was probably one of the first girl drummers out of Chicago and I knew instantly after I sat down on a set that I was meant to play them. I was also a lead guitarist in an all male band at 14 (which was unusual for bck in the 60’s.) We didn’t have double bass pedals back then and nobody wanted to be carrying around 2 huge bass drums, but sure wish there were more choices then. I got no respect for a long time until they heard me play.
Keep up the good work. You are a true drum machine!!!!! Loved it!
